Field of proof 1 is a standardised export field in the DATEV format that populates the Versino Financial Suite with a document number. The user selects in the VFS export settings whether the field should contain the original document number or the reversal document number.
Context
Configurable document field population from VFS v04.2026 allows for targeted control of document references. In cancellation processes, it is relevant for the tax firm whether the original invoice number or the cancellation document number appears in the document field – different audit routines favour different references depending on the firm's working methods. In parallel to document field 1, VFS populates the DATEV field „Additional Information" with the respective other document number, so that both references are retained in the export.
