the Versino Financial Suite The Financial Cockpit has been an integral part of SAP Business One since the beginning of 2025. With the current release 03.2025, the focus is once again on the further development of this module. The main enhancements are centred on the Financial Cockpit, which will play a central role within the Financial Suite in future.
New! The Launchpad
The new release introduces the Launchpad - a central user interface that enables direct access to relevant accounting functions and modules in SAP Business One. The aim of the development is to simplify workflows and facilitate the use of the Financial Cockpit in conjunction with the SAP Business One financial module more efficiently.
Auto-update function
Version 12.2024 of the Versino Financial Suite already included the account sheets for ledger accountsaccounts receivable and accounts payable have been expanded and functionally improved. The current release 03.2025 represents a further step: the new auto-update function ensures that the account sheets in the Financial Cockpit are updated automatically. If the cockpit is used in parallel with SAP Business One - for example when entering bank postings - the changes appear in real time in the corresponding account sheet, including the updated balance.
This function is available for all account sheet types. After selecting the desired account and period, posting changes can be tracked directly without manual updating. This improves transparency and simplifies daily work with financial data.
Posting batches in the Versino Financial Suite
The "Posting batch" function extends the "Account sheets" in the Financial Cockpit. A separate tab can now be used to display all transactions for a specific day - similar to the familiar overview of account sheets. In contrast, the analysis here is based exclusively on the posting or document date, regardless of the account or business partner. In conjunction with the auto-update function, this provides a compact and efficient way of systematically checking and reconciling daily bookings.
Drilldown function in the cockpit
With the current release, the drill-down functionality in the Financial Cockpit extended. All SAP Business One data records displayed can now be opened in full. This applies in particular to the links to documents and master data, which can now be viewed directly from the cockpit.
Reports in the cockpit
The reports introduced with version 12.2024 - business analysis (BWA), totals and balances list and customer open items - have been expanded to include an additional function. The respective standard report can now be opened directly in SAP Business One via the "Extended" button. When the BWA is selected, the associated profit and loss account is called up; for the other reports, the link is made to the totals and balances list or the due date report for customer receivables.
New queries
Two new analyses complete the query package.
• Invoice receipt controlBy entering a key date, you receive a daily overview of all posted incoming invoices.
• Analysis by G/L account and countryThis query offers a time-controllable analysis of outgoing invoices and credit notes by G/L account and recipient country. For example, all postings via the EU revenue account 8125 can be analysed for a specific destination country, such as Italy.
Autostart
A newly introduced parameter in the Financial Suite enables the configuration of an automatic start of the Financial Cockpit. If this option is activated, the cockpit opens immediately after starting the add-on without manual execution.
Toolbox extension
The function introduced in version 12.2024 for deleting displayed data in various SAP Business One forms has been enhanced in the current release 03.2025 of the Financial Suite. It is now possible to delete several parked documents at the same time. Filtered data records can now be processed collectively in SAP Business One via the overview of draft documents.
A typical application scenario is the daily import of customer invoices via a interface. These are first created as saved vouchers, validated before posting and then finally transferred. Previously, each voucher had to be opened and processed individually - a time-consuming process with large amounts of data. With the new function, this process can be carried out much more efficiently.
Procedure:
- Execute a query to validate the documents
- Display of results with checkboxes for selection
- Booking the selected documents directly from the overview
- Optional: automatic deletion of drafts after booking via the "Delete draft" checkbox
This enhancement significantly simplifies the processing of large quantities of parked documents.
