On Booking stack In the DATEV context, this is a package of bookings that DATEV only accepts on a monthly basis. DATEV processes bookings exclusively by booking month – periods must not be mixed in a single batch.
Context
The monthly batch structure is the technical foundation for the multi-period split of the Versino Financial Suite from v04.2026. If an export process includes bookings from multiple months – such as in a cross-year export – the VFS automatically splits the export into separate booking batches per period. This allows the export to meet the DATEV requirement without the user having to manually filter by month. (Source: V04.2026_V2, Ch. 4.1.7, p. 13)
