Cash Flow Report - SAP Business One

The Cash Flow Report - SAP Business One is a liquidity forecast that is created on a weekly basis. It provides a comprehensive overview of all planned and actual payment movements in the company. This overview includes both the movements in all bank accounts as well as the actual cash flows resulting from incoming and outgoing payments in SAP Business One.

The expected liquidity shortfalls or surpluses resulting from the payment dates of the respective invoices are also included in the calculation. In addition to regular postings, expected future transactions and recurring payments can also be included in the planning. It is also possible to plan expected incoming payments and outgoing payments for which no receipts are yet available.

The cash flow forecast includes

- A forecast that shows the financial movements within the company.

The preparation of the cash flow is based on:
- Unreconciled open items
- Payment dates of the business transactions

The cash flow forecast provides insight into:
- Available funds (such as account balances)
- Predicted financial inflow in the future (such as expected incoming payments and outstanding receivables)

Different priorities are assigned to the financial items, for example
- Immediately available funds are regarded as primary collateral - belonging to the cash accounts.
- Future expected incoming payments due to outstanding receivables are regarded as secondary collateral - allocated to customer liabilities.

The cash flow forecast offers:
- A tool for quickly creating visual reports on cash flows.

The cash flow statement provides:
- An additional, often legally required report that is required in many countries.
