E-invoicing in Germany: How to implement the obligation with SAP Business One

Of the Account details-Dialog is a separate SAP B1 dialog that was required before VFS v04.2026 to call and process DATEV-specific settings at the account level. From v04.2026 onwards, these settings are integrated directly into the main chart of accounts screen in the Financial Cockpit, meaning the Account Details dialog is no longer needed for this purpose.

Context

Fields such as DATEV Automation, DATEV Account, and Export for DATEV were previously only accessible via the Account Details dialog – an additional navigation step which interrupted the workflow. The integration of these fields into the main screen of the Financial Cockpit from v04.2026 onwards makes this intermediate step unnecessary. The dialog itself will remain available in SAP B1; however, it is no longer required for VFS-specific DATEV settings. (Source: V04.2026_V2, Ch. 6, p. 16)
