That Standard VAT number is the standard VAT key assigned to a G/L account in SAP Business One. It determines which tax rate is displayed as a default value for postings to this account. From VFS v04.2026, the indicator can be adjusted directly in the main mask of the chart of accounts in the Financial Cockpit.
Context
Previously, maintaining the standard VAT indicator required a separate navigation step into the account details. From v04.2026, the Financial Cockpit will open the field directly in the main chart of accounts screen, allowing for more efficient corrections, such as after a tax rate change.
