the Account type is a classification characteristic of an account in SAP Business One – for example, „Revenue" or „Expenses". In the chart of accounts list view of the VFS Financial Cockpit, the account type serves as a filter criterion from v04.2026 onwards, with which users can specifically narrow down the chart of accounts to an account group.
Context
The new chart of accounts list view in the Financial Cockpit displays all accounts in a searchable and filterable table. The account type is one of the available filter dimensions. This allows users to find, for example, all revenue accounts of a client without having to manually scroll through the chart of accounts.
