
Of the Unit price in SAP Business One is the price per unit of quantity of an item.
- In the Parts list is entered in the "Unit price" for articles the price from the selected price list displayed.
- For resources, the field always shows the Standard costs from the resource master, even if the Resource is linked to an item for which a price list price has been stored.
The unit price can be overwritten manually for both articles and resources.
Calculation of the line total:
The unit price is used to calculate the Line total in vouchers. The calculation method is customisable:
- Option "Calculate line total based on unit price" activated:
Line total = unit price × discount × quantity. - Option deactivated:
Line total = price after discount × quantity.
Currencies:
The unit price can be calculated in a Foreign currency that can be specified in the "Currencies - Definition" is defined. The used Exchange rate is based by default on the Booking date of the document.
