Companies must update the ELSTER add-on for SAP Business One at the start of the 2025 tax year. This measure ensures the legally compliant transmission of advance VAT returns and other tax-relevant data in accordance with the current legal requirements.
The new ELSTER add-on 2025 for SAP Business One can already be downloaded. The tax law adjustments for the coming year are based on ERiC version 41.2.6.0 of the MAGPIE-authorities.
ELSTER Rich Clients (ERiC) Version 41.2.6.0
The electronic transmission of the advance VAT return (VAT-VA) 2025 requires the updated ELSTER Rich Client (ERiC) in version 41.2.6.0 from February. The correspondingly adapted ELSTER add-on for SAP Business One 10.0 enables full integration and legally compliant data transmission to the tax authorities.
SAP Business One 10 Prerequisite
The updated add-on requires at least SAP Business One 10.0. Users of older versions must first perform a system upgrade, as earlier versions do not fulfil the requirements of the latest ERiC version. There are two options for submitting the January 2025 advance return: Either direct electronic transmission from the updated system or export of the tax data with subsequent manual upload in the ELSTER portal.
Systems with SAP Business One 10.0 only require the installation of the new ELSTER add-on for the usual online transmission.
