A structure in SAP Business OneThe value movements within an accounting unit (in this case a company code) in relation to an element from a value grouping. The Account can refer to an object to which the value transactions are assigned.
The account contains transaction figures showing the changes in values in condensed form per company code.
In SAP Business One, accounts are used to process and monitor the company's financial transactions. Accounts can be investment accounts, revenue accounts or Expense accounts and are usually associated with a specific chart of accounts connected. Furthermore, a link can be created between a specific account and other objects such as cost centres, projects and business partners. To integrate an account into SAP Business One, it must first be created in the chart of accounts to be used in transactions such as invoices, incoming payments and bank postings.
