The new version 6.2 of the SAP Business One extension MariProject is now available. Once again, it contains many new features that are well worth seeing.
SAP Business One 10.0
The new version of SAP Business One 10.0 is supported.
- For HANA2, the database connection uses the database name (NDB@hanaserver:30013)
- The HANA version has a new design. This design is both integrated and supported in the stand-alone application.
- The MARIProject Add On can now be installed via Light Weight Deployment (also for 9.3)

- In the master data screens of MARIProject, users can now also can now also click on .
Contract master improvements
- With version 6.2, the "Positions" tab was changed to a fast saving technique. All other tabs have now been changed so that the items no longer need to be saved if a change in the other tabs does not affect the items. The "Down payments" tab has also been changed.
- Improvement of phase selection. It is now possible to make phase selection mandatory in order to ensure a consistent link between the contract items and the services.
- Subtotals of the respective dimensions (hours, days, units) are now displayed.
- The contract bill of materials inherits the phase from the father
Conversion power master
- The service master has now also received the simpler setting of the positions analogous to the contract master.
Scheme planning improvements
- The schema planning has been expanded to include the option of displaying contract quantities (hours, days, units) in the respective lines (phase/contribution margin invoice line) if the contract items are assigned to exactly one phase.
- Logical errors in the presentation of actual costs or planning can now be better visualised.
Restriction of data collection to employee services
- At employees a list of service templates can be defined. It is now possible to limit data collection for individual employees to the desired service.
Planning of support processes
- Planning can now be created for a support process.
- When assigning a new agent, the planning can be moved directly to the new employee.
Allocation rules instead of cost centres
- In the cost accounting distribution rules can also be created for cost centres in SAP Business One dimensions 1-5. A 1:1 allocation rule is also created automatically for each cost centre. Only allocation rules in SAP Business One are used in the documents. In MARIProject it was previously only possible to use cost centres. Now you can also set up distribution rules.
- The analyses in MARIProject will be modified in a later version so that they also take into account percentage shares of postings via the distribution rules.
Improvement of the overview and search masks (support dashboard, project search...)
- It is now possible to save individually set filters as favourites in the menu. If the form is opened via the favourites, all set filters take effect immediately.
- Favourites in the Launch Pad display the filtered quantity accordingly (open support cases for a customer). You can therefore create tiles for each customer
- The filter masks have been expanded to include the option of filtering user-defined fields. For example, if user-defined fields have been defined in the project master, these can be used when searching for projects, contracts, contract items and purchasing transactions.
- If individual masks have been designed for the user-defined fields, these masks can be used in the filter masks.
Improvement planning
- In the web version of Gantt planning, the predecessor-successor relationships can now be displayed.
- The planning reassignment assistant can now automatically assign the correct phases within a project.
