The Versino Datev interface for SAP Business One is now installed at numerous companies. In addition to exporting and importing between SAP Business One and DATEV financial accounting, the software will soon be able to do even more. A new version is about to be released. There is also a new roadmap with exciting features.
The new version of the DATEV-ADDONS for SAP Business One will include a report package in the new version. This includes reports and documents such as
- Payment advice
- Payment behaviour of customers
- Balance confirmation as of the reporting date
- Trial Balance according to DATEV specifications
Advanced import function
That Add On is already able to transfer postings from DATEV to SAP B1. These currently arrive as journal entries.
The new version also distinguishes between normal journal entries and incoming or outgoing payments - depending on various criteria. This means that significantly fewer postings have to be made after the import into SAP Business One be tuned manually.
Roadmap for the DATEV interface
On the roadmap for future functions of the DATEV interface for SAP Business One many functions that go far beyond the cooperation between DATEV Finance and SAP Business One go beyond that. These include
- Extension of report package such as sales tax check / sales tax report
- Automatic import function for exchange rates (via ECB)
- Automatic creation of accrual postings
- New posting mask for quick entry of journal entries (similar to the DATEV posting mask)

- Close to DATEV as developed in close coordination with DATEV
- The Versino interface exports to CSV format instead of XML, which makes it easy to check in Excel after extracting the data
- The Versino interface makes it possible to work in SAP Business One in the future without time-consuming split postings (dividing journal entries according to document lines).
- Both approaches will also be supported in the future: With or without split bookings
- The Versino interface can also re-import DATEV bookings
- Many additional functions that are constantly being expanded
